An ode to the sweaty man
You toil and labor hard all day
Sometimes for what seems little pay
You do the work, where no one else will go
A roof, an attic, out in the heat
Steam from the asphalt rising on the street
You think of your family at home in the air
You're doing your job, to show that you care
Heat index up in the danger zone
Sweaty man, you're never really alone
Your wife and your kids think the best of you
The sacrifice in sweat for all that you do
We'll turn down the a/c and make some ice tea
We appreciate you and we hope that you see
We love you and we think you of you laboring in the sun
At the end of the day, we know you're #1.

That's great!
I hope you don't mind if I pass it along to a few friends.
My father is law is a general contractor and we socialize with LOTS of men and women who work outside all day.
We've already had over 30 days of 100+ degree weather this year already, and I'm sure they would appreciate the sentiment.
